The Genesis of Midway Industrial Park
The inception of Midway Industrial Park (MIP) can be attributed to an essential demand. As detailed in a piece dated May 21st in the Madison Times, David Jackson, the driving force behind MIP, recounted that this venture was ignited by complications he faced while endeavoring to construct a substantial garage in the yard of his residence on Milwaukee Street. Unbeknownst to David, that overcast day held a silver lining. It was on that very day that he realized that if he was grappling with such challenges, there were likely others sharing his frustrations.
This revelation prompted him to establish the inaugural Midway Industrial Park condominium development on Dovetail Drive in Madison. The first building he erected was swiftly sold the evening before the scheduled open house. While the Dovetail Drive location achieved full occupancy within three months, the growth of MIP didn’t halt there. Currently, MIP boasts 24 sites housing numerous units across the Madison, Milwaukee, and Fox Valley regions. The company’s expansion is not confined to these areas alone, as evidenced by an ongoing construction project for a new facility in Dayton, Ohio.
